Scrambled eggs at midnight?

I am doing a report on the book “Scrambled Eggs at Midnight”

I am almost done with the report part, but I haven’t started the pojective part. Here is the choices we have:

Create TWO of the following Visuals to accompany your book report.

1. Diorama- use a shoebox or box to recreate a scene from the book.

2. Poster- use a one-half sheet of poster board to illustrate a scene from the book; large enough to see: colorful

3. Timeline of ten events- this does not work with some books

4. Model of Chracter- recreate your favorite charcter.

——–

the two porjectives most be done seperately. For those of you that have read “Scrambled Eggs at Midnight” would know I can’t do a timeline.

——–

I actually ave a few questions….

1. Which two shall I do?

2. How will I do them?

3. What will I need to do them?

Thanks to all your help!

P.S. I only have $25 dollars to spend….

It seems fairly straight forward. I’d probably choose the diorama and the poster, choosing two different scenes. Neither requires much in the way of expense. Decide upon the scenes and then pick ways to illustrate them.

For the diorama you’ll need small things to create the scene – think of displays in store windows and do something like that on a small scale. You can usually use things you can find around the house such as cardboard to make furniture, small bits of material for curtains, etc. Paints, markers, and colored paper would be helpful.

For the poster possibly use an illustration from the cover of the book, put the name and author in large letters, etc.

Best of luck with it. This link may help a little.

I would definitely do the diorama. It seems to be the easiest. You can use barbie or baby doll accessories to set up a scene. For example, if there is a camping scene go find a G I Joe figure camping kit and use those items. Line the box with construction paper or paint it with a blue sky and green grass on the bottom. You can paint a sun or find something to use as the sun. You can find pictures on line and print them and then glue them to the inside of the box. Don’t over glue anything paper it bleeds through and will smear the picture. To take care of doing two items you can make a clay model to be in the diorama. Good Luck and have fun.
