Not the average tips for a high school freshman???
1. Be yourself
2. get good grades
3. dont worry (cuz im not worried)
4.get involved.
5. have fun (of course im going to have fun, its high school)
I intend to use all that advice, but that is all the advice anyone is giving about freshman year. I’m smart and taking all the highest classes I can, (Geometry H, English H, Biology H) and my electives are theater, band, foods, and spanish 1.

Create your own reputation in some creative and positive way.
Become a legend at school for something cool and positive, like knowing about classic movies, music, and memorize Ferris Bueller.
Get to know teachers on a personal level, and develop social skills when talking with adults. That will get you the slack when you need it.
2. Don’t get so caught up in drama that you forget to do good school work and forget who your real friends are.
3. Honors classes are great but if you fall behind, do something RIGHT away, otherwise you’ll be screwed for the rest of your high school years.
4. Your first day is going to be pretty boring. Don’t expect a carnival or something. Bring a book, music player(If you’re allowed), or doodle with your friends.
5. Don’t isolate your friends just because you don’t have classes with them.
Hope this helps!
Make new friends
Just because you are not worried doesn’t mean the other kids aren’t either, try to make them feel more comfortable
Get to know your teachers
Learn what resources your school offers, such as tutoring, counseling etc.
Friends are important, but don’t get caught up in trying to make everyone your friend because chances are you won’t talk to most of them after high school. A little pessimistic, but it’s usually true.
