My school doesn’t give me a lunch.?
I go to vocational school. My guidance counselor said that he wouldn’t give me a lunch because I’m expected to eat on the bus. However i find it troublesome to make a lunch everyday and eat it while moving 75 mph down the parkway.
Most voc. kids get 10 minutes of lunch when they get back to schoool however my Voc is about 1 hour away so i miss lunch completely and the first half of my math class.
So legally in the state of new jersey is the school required to give a lunch to me?

No, you are only legally required to have one half-hour break during your school/work day. Unfortunately, your hour driving time consumes that half-hour break. I suggest you move whatever it is that you’re doing outside of vocational school a little closer to the school premises, and I apologize that my answer wasn’t as you hoped it to be.

get up eariler and eat a huge breakfast. the night before you go to bed make the next days lunch, then your all set for the a.m.

yes they are and they should not send you somewhere an hour away where you miss half of a class
