I think you could make that very interesting and expand on it a bit, too. I think it would be very interesting to write about ancient hand tools found by archeologist’s and then tie it in with today’s’ hand tools. You could establish/follow a time line and/or show the beginnings and how they correlate to today’s tools making it very relevant to now. The history of it would give it some umph showing how they evolved and changed over time due to what man needed to use them for and how they were used then vs what they’ve become and how they are used today. With that slant, you should have tons of research to help you get started available from the historic references. It’s an idea for you to think about and make it fit/fun for you.
