You can have story time every day or every cpl of days and do a related craft too. For example, a story that would talk about favorite things or places, such as a park or zoo, you can couple that with drawing a picture of your trip to the park or zoo. They can bring it home and bring it back to the library next story time for a prize (ribbon, pencil or bookmark.)

You can also dedicate a space just for kiddos in on e corner with a table and chairs as well as soft beanbags or big pillows so they can hangout and read while their parents browse the grown up books in peace. In the space you can include colors, coloring pages, puzzles, easy games, etc.

I remember I went to our local library for a bunch of activities when I was younger. There was story time, and you were able to dress up as characters from the books. There were scavenger hunts that gave the kids ID numbers of books that they had to find throughout the library, and when they collected them all, they got some type of prize. It really helped learning to find things in the library. I remember a couple of ice cream socials. Just random things really to get kids involved. You could always ask other local libraries what types of things they do. Good luck!
