I want to change teachers?

I don’t like my spanish teacher because he is so boring, I want the other spanish teacher at my school who my brother says is good. But I don’t think saying “Because I don’t like him” is going to be a good enough reason for my counselor to let me switch classes. Is there anything else I could say? I don’t care if it’s a lie as long as its not something bad about the teacher.

There is no harm in asking for a change, if you don’t ask you won’t receive.

Just say what you said here — his or her teaching methods don’t work for you and you would like to change teachers (switch classes). But don’t lie about the teacher, that will hurt your chances.

Counsellors know that teachers use different methods and one teacher’s method doesn’t work for all students. It won’t be the first time your counsellor has been asked for a change of class\teacher by a student in your school, believe me.

not to worry, Tell your Mom or Dad, you are not comfortable in that classroom..Period.

If no parents can come, talk to the Head of the school. Just tell the truth… You will be transferred to the upper class.
