If you’re talking about becoming a volunteer just call them and tell them that you are interested in joining and how to go about doing so. They should be able to answer any other questions you have also. You could also do the same for a paid department.

Stop by your local fire department to talk to the chief. I’m sure they would be able to answer some questions and give advice on how to get started. You may want to start as a volunteer.

Check out the website for the city that you want to work for. They will tell you if they are hiring for firefighters and how to apply. You should also call the personnel/human resources department as they are the ones who are responsible for the hiring process. You can talk to the firefighters and see what things you can do to prepare yourself for the test. Also go to the library and ask for books on how to prepare for the test. Good luck!

definite, bypass take a stroll down the block and ask. They like it once you do issues like that, fairly once you’re very extreme approximately it. i do now not think of as a sophomore you could grow to be a Candidate or a volunteer, yet they’d enable you dangle around the Firehouse and word; in step with possibility even help out. perfect possibility is to work out in case you could talk with the Battalion chief. And good good fortune.

I would advice you to go to a website or something but not call them cause they can say that you’re prank calling them or something. If your area/ town has a website, there must be some hyperlink to the emergency place. Good luck
