I need to know what date I took my GED and no longer have the certificate. Can I search for it online?
I got my GED years ago and no longer have my results or the certificate for it. I need to find this information. Is there anywere on the internet that I can search for this information?

You will need to contact your state’s Department of Education. You can find the address/phone number online by doing a search like:
(put your state’s name here) Department of Education
Your state’s website may have a form that you can fill out or a phone number of someone to contact. They’ll mail you an official transcript. You don’t have to know the exact date, just an approximate year.
The Oklahoma Department of Education actually lost mine. Bummer. I may have to retake the test in order to go to college. But, I took my test nearly 30 years ago so I guess I’m not really surprised they lost it. Hopefully they’ll still have yours.
