I’m starting a petition.?
I’m trying to get my school to give us either a choice of running or swimming during P.E. What are some good reasons for not being able to swim? I have a few but i want to see what other people think.

Cost of maintenance. Weather conditions. Possible disease transmission. Possible liability (drowning–you’re not likely to drown on the track).

How about not wanting to bare your rear for the world to see. There are some religions like strict penecostal that are not allowed to wear a swimsuit. I would chose the swimming over the running any day.

During school activities I’m sure the pool would have to be supervised by a licensed lifeguard. Also, giving you a choice would require the class to have two teachers.
