In my experience, viewing a play can clarify things that seem hazy when it is read by allowing the viewer to see the emotions when it is performed. In the case of a Shakespearean play, some of the language is difficult for many people to grasp, as well. In addition, viewing a play allows a person to get more of a grasp on acting styles and dramatic effects.
