Going To A New School, And Very Nervous. Help?

Im 14 and going to be a freshman officially on the 27th. I’m kind of a small-town girl. I’m usually in about a 3A school. But I just moved in with my dad [parents have been divorced for several years] and I’m going to be starting at a 5A school for my first year as a highschooler.

I’m DEATHLY terrified. What if I’m too friendly? What if I’m too shy? What if I don’t fit in, what if they don’t like me?

I’ve got no clue what to do, or how to make friends. I don’t want to draw TOO much attention to myself, but I don’t want to draw NO attention to myself.

I don’t know how relevant this is – but I’m the kind of girl that shops at Pac-Sun and Hot Topic. I’m not thin as most girls, but I’m not large either. I don’t have flawless skin, and there are days when I hate my hair. Apparently, according to some of my friends, this might make it more difficult to befriend people, because I’m not drop-dead gorgeous.
