I’m looking for different professions? What should i do if i like….?

to help people. I love to observe but i don’t want to be a scientist. I want to help kids but adults would be fine to. I’m also very creative. I was thinking something along the lines of psychology, human resources etc.

I don’t want to be a teacher but i want something with good hours and good pay. Does anyone have any really great suggestions (or awesome sites I can research that will tell me a range of professions) for me? Thanks. I really appreciate it.

become a pharmacy technician. if you are certified you get paid well. And there’s more to it than working at Rite-Aid. You can work at hospitals and nursing homes. Or you can work on the compounding side of pharmacy where you are actually making medicine and IV bags.

I work as a pharmacy technician and I get paid to make creams, gels, pills and injectables all day. I cant believe I get paid to do this.

Check into it. You may like it.

I took an 8 month course through Remington College. They have campuses all over the U.S. It was a great school.

Well, I was very impressed when I was in China with the number of students there who wanted to practice their conversational English.

I’d think that would be the case in a lot of countries, so if you like to work with children, observe & be creative, contact the English for Speakers of Other Languages departments at local colleges in your area to investigate this as an option.

This way, you could live & learn one culture for a year or two, then move on to another, keeping it up until you were tired of learning or teaching.

Because the cost of living in most of these countries is not as high as it is in the US, even if you don’t get paid that much, you could probably live very well – even building up your savings for when you do return to the US to live.

How about working with children (or families that have children with) autism? It’s a huge field with lots of demand and not nearly enough professionals to fill the void. There are all kinds of jobs related to it: therapist who works with the kids, the families, performs different kinds of therapies, resource people that helps families get linked to resouces in their area, managers to run programs, educators etc.

If you are creative you could design your own resource centre, charity or assistance/develpment program.

This could be applied to children and adults, and it’s pretty guaranteed good pay – especially if your in the private sector.
