I’m 17 years old i’m thinking about getting my Ged can i still go to college?
probably just go to school NOOOO i hate school i get so stress and depress that i think about killing myself

Some university’s are more strict on where your diploma came from, but you could definitely get into t a technical school. My boyfriend dropped out of high school in 10th grade and did not get his GED until 2 yrs ago. He attended Lincoln Tech (a chain technical school) to become an electrician. He graduates next month after being there for a year and gets to begin his career!

You sure can! However, some colleges may be less inclined to accept a student who got their GED rather than a high school diploma. You may want to start off at a community college and get a good GPA (grade point average) going and then transfer if the the college/university of your choice doesn’t accept you right away.
