I got my GED several yrs ago but I scored low can I retake the test to try to get a higher score?

I received my GED several years ago. I passed but my scores were low. I want to continue education and I notice on scholarships/grants they want to know your GPA to be considered for the scholarship or grants. Am I able to retest for the GED to get a higher score even though I already passed?

HIGH SCORES ARE NOT NEEDED. AFTER COMPLETING A GED I NEVER HAD TO SHOW THE SCORES TO A COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY – IT WAS SIMPLY A REQUISITE TO HAVE OBTAINED A HS DIPLOMA. NO EMPLOYER EVER ASKED TO SEE THE SCORES EITHER – THEY WERE MORE INTERESTED IN COURSES TAKEN IN COLLEGE AND MY GPA AFTER COMPLETING MY DEGREE. TO OBTAIN A SCHOLARSHIP (AND I HAD ONE) THE ONLY QUESTIONS CONCERNING GRADES WERE IN REFERENCE TO COLLEGE COURSES.

In 1958 as quickly as I took my GCE ‘mock tests, my superb result become for my well-known subject, chemistry at ninety six% yet my worst become for a topic I hated with a vengeance and that become geography, I have been given a measly 4% and the geography grasp pronounced I drop the subject in my final year. That become the 1st high-quality factor he had ever suggested to me.
