How much water a day do I really use?

I’m told that on average we use 80 gallons+ each day. This does not work out in my head.

If I take a 10 minute shower with a shower head at 2.5 gpm, that’s 25 gallons.

If I flush the toilet 10 times, at 1.6 gpf, that’s 16 gallons.

If I drink 2 gallons, the grand total is 43 gallons.

I don’t really have a lawn to water, a couple plants but that’s it.

What am I missing?

It sort of averages out, for every person that doesn’t water their lawn there is a person with2 acres tha waters daily.
