Each grade equals a number
A=4
B=3
C=2
D=1
F=0
Add all the grades up, then divide by the number of classes gave you the grade.
Example:
Subject 1: B/3
Subject 2: C/2
Subject 3: A/4
Subject 4: F/0
Subject 5: B/3
=12 / 5 = 2.2 C-
