on line web designing coarse or classroom, which is better?

i’m thinking of taking an online web designing coarse. does anyone think that these really work or should i be sitting in an actual class room.

also does anyone know a good legit on line web desinging coarse that i can take. i dont have a whole lot of money to just wing it.
