I am running for Secretary for my student council. I have 2 tough opponants & I really want to win. How do I win the people over??

Well one way is to bribe them with candy,money,etc.When I ran for treasurer I made a speech right on the spot.I told my fellow students that I didn’t know much of what they did until i talked to the treasurer or “secretary” of my church.Say that the secretary of your church told you some valuable stuff that will help you in your position as secretary.Tell them you have what it takes and never act like your scared when your talking….it give you a bad look to be an important roll.Say please vote for me __________ ___________ as Secretary

As a candidate for any position, the best factor that you can obtain are your credentials. Having the credentials alone will not make you win if you do not know how to present it to your voters. Develop self confidence and be firm on your agenda. Your ability to speak well will give you the votes to win.

All I can tell you is be yourself, if you go promise crap it’ll bite u in the @$$ later! Try your hardest. Make friends with the whole school. Each school is made up of groups; jocks, gamers, book readers, prepy, goth, etc… If you make friends with at least 3 people per group, they might tell there other friends in that group to vote for u. Well anyways just keep trying.

Candy always helps lol be really friendly and talk to people you don’t normally talk to let people know your running make kool poster’s also humor works for some kids but also tell people all the changes in the school you want to make =]

Here’s what a friend of mine did in high school: we had an ‘assembly’ of all 1,200 students in the gym. All of the candidates had a few minutes to present their platform, etc. When it was my friend’s turn (by this time, people had been sitting still for close an hour), he said “OK, everyone, stand up please.” When people were on their feet and had quieted down, he said “Well, you stood up for me…NOW VOTE FOR ME.”
He won.

Go around introducing yourself to people and asking them what you could do to make their life of situation better if you were voted in. Take notes to their response and let them know that you have their best interest and feel you could make their feelings know when voted into the position.

signs. the more people see them the more they remember. Like thats why people put out campaine says for election day. People are more likely to remember signs. Make them colorful and intersesting so they will be noticed
