This is basic time management at a very important time. You lay out everything you need to do, along with due dates and time estimates. Then you plan your week, allowing enough time to do all the work. If you run out of time, prioritize, so you can eliminate unnecessary tasks, do less on low-priority tasks, or get help in finishing certain things.
Ask your guidance counselor for some pointers on time management, ask your librarian, or do a web search.
One of the simplest forms is to keep long-term and short-term lists. My long-term list is a prioritized list of things I want to complete, start, or research over the coming 3 months. My short-term list is a list of the 4-7 things I’m going to work on *today*, and I do it every morning right after I check my email. I don’t get them all done, but the list keeps me focused.
Speaking of which, my test run is almost done, and lunch time is over in 10 minutes. Time to move along …
