ok braceface,

im guessing your starting 6th grade so heres what i did last year. i bought a backpack with a decent number of pockets, at leats 4 or 5. In the first week i kept small things like my cell phone pens, pencils, hiliters etc.. we used gymclothes so in the second i kept my running shoes , and in the third my clothes. In the 4th i put my portfolio/expanding folder[ its very helpful u just label each section witha class and it keeps all your papers organized and its much more compact then a usual binder]. I had a section for language arts, math science, etc AND a section for black lined papers and graph paper just in case. I keep my backpack with me at all times {we dont have lockers} and i always have a planner to write down assignments due dates etc. Im in the 7th grade this year and im doing the exact same thing. It helped me BIG time so i hope it helps you too. If you need anymore tips on specific things let me know 😀

Tell me how it works out for you

the main thing to keeping clean is to start the year with an orgainized backpack and locker, and take a minute per day to clean it.

The first week of school, put EVERYTHING into folders, binders or notebooks and orgainize it by class. (For example, put all of your math homework in your green notebook and all your english notes in the red binder.)

Have a backpack with a few pockets. In one of the pockets, put about 3 pencils and 3 pens, a hilighter, etc, but just the stuff you need. Have another pocket for your stuff(like cellphone, ipod, etc.)

The first few days of school organize your backpack and memorize where everything goes. From then on, remain organized. Whenever you have to put a paper or pencils away, put it in the right place, so u know where it is the next time you want to use it. Although it will take a few seconds to put a pen away (and that might seem like forever to you), u will b grateful when u dont need ten minutes to search for it next period.

At the end of each day, take a minute or to to put everything back into it’s folder, or pocket that you stuffed into ur backpack that day!

After a while you will b calm, organized, and happy! Good luck!

Well, Junior High, or middle school isn’t really all that different, allthough you’re now the youngest in th school. To stay organized, get a locker shelf and keep your school supplies organized by subject. Also, have magnetic cups in your locker for pens, pencils, etc. Every time you go to class, get a pencil and then put it back when you’re done. have folders for each class and a homework folder for assignments. If you take the time to keep everything organized, you won’t end up with a big mess!

Well, since last year you had trouble looking for things in your school bag you should get a better schoolbag maybe, perhaps one with a lot of compartments. That way you can put your pencils/pens in one spot, and your keys or money in another, etc. And you should get a folder or binder for each subject.

An agenda or scheduling book helps for being organized I think. Try asking some of your relatives or friends too for tips. And lastly, good luck and study hard.

I have the same problem. So this school year I’m putting in a better locker shelf, and separating things in my locker by subject. I’m also colour coding everything. i.e. Spanish is green. Green binder, Green book cover, green folders… etc. And instead of putting papers in your locker, just snap them into your binder and every two weeks clean out papers, throw away old writing utensils, paper you wont need anymore, old assignments. And keep an agenda on a white board inside your locker. Hope I was helpful(:

This is what I would do. Buy a ton of loose leaf paper and some folders. Keep the folders at home. Bring to class the loose leaf paper. Use it to keep notes on. Buy a little stapler to staple your notes together and any teacher handouts. Then in the evening, put your notes in the designated subject folders for safe keeping. If you might need the notes, get one folder to put all of your recent notes in. The reason why this method works so well is because you will only have one folder with your recent notes and some blank loose leaf paper. It will keep you organized.

i am like you, i always ended up with a binder full of like 20 lbs. of paper!

if you try to clean it out everyday, you’ll probably end up forgetting or just saying “maybe I won’t today”,

that’s what happened to me.

so, what i you should do, is every clean it out every week or two.

and another thing is get a friend who’s really obssesed with tidyness and get her to keep you at least somewhat organized throughout the week. Try it! =)

Keep a notebook with folders in it, so you can organize your stuff individually. Have a agenda book, so you know what your homework is, and stick to a study schedule, and you’ll be fine! Good luck!

Organize your backpack every day after school so it doesn’t get like that. Get a planner.
