The hardest part may be your lunch period, but usually there are so few of those, you are bound to find someone you know.

In order to avoid being a loner, you are going to have to force yourself to go outside of your comfort zone and be outgoing and confident. People are attracted to that.

Stop worrying about yourself and think about getting to know other people. Ask questions. Ask people’s names. Pick a table at lunch time full of people that you don’t know and ask if you can sit there. Take part in conversation and Other people are in the same situation as you are. They want to be known too.

Main thing is… don’t worry. You’ll do fine.

but if you have to go alone, go by yourself early in the morning of day school starts and walk around familiarizing yourself with the school.
