Check in a dictionary what that means so that you will understand more clearly. The ‘net has dictionaries for you to use… Mine says: anthology: a collection of literary selections.

Your English is just fine! It appears that you are to choose a reading and outline the highlights from that. Meaning, you are to lightly discuss what is said and meant from what you read. If you have a friend in this class and are able, ask them to clarify what your teacher is wanting so that you can be well on your way to completing your work. My best to you!

Anthology means a collection of literary works. So I’m guessing they just want you to summarize one of the 2 essays.

Anthology is a collection of works. Look in the table of contents to find where that section is in your book.
