Finding someone in the phone book with only first name?

I am trying to locate someone (i.e. address/phone.) I only know the first name, and city, state. The good thing is that the first name is rather unique such that I don’t think there will be more than handful in this city,state.

Most directories/phone books online absolutely require last name. How can I get around this? How can I locate this person based only on the info I have?

geee this is tough. besides the phone operator u hv to scour every page. if not big city, it shld be easy. sometimes they hv it online and u can juggle the search box and see what u get. or if in the city, go to the social security office. they will not give info but u can leave your contact # for person to contact you instead.
