farmyard animal help, rooster question?
when would a blind rooster crow? I’m not being sarcastic just wondering if this would make a diference?

Roosters crowing with sunrise is a bit of a myth, I think–ours crows at 3 am, 4 am, 6 am–doesn’t matter if the sun is out or not, whenever the heck he feels like it. So I’d guess a blind rooster would do the same.

It may not know when morning comes,but it takes time for them to learn to crow.Hope I helped!!!

hey you saw that commercial too, but roosters know, it’s one of those instincts, they can tell, it might have to do with the drop in temperature or the hens tell him, but it’s one of those animal instinct things, because if he doesn’t shut it at midnight, he’s dinner for the next day
