I don’t agree with everything I learn. I learn it to broaden my mind, to understand other perspectives, to experience new things, to stimulate my brain, and to question my own beliefs.

The concept of learning different sides of the same idea or concept is to give you the ability to test out opposing concepts for yourself, to see what fits best for you. Perception is 90% of reality when it comes to social interaction.Some things, like religion, have no proof, which is why religious beliefs are called Faith. If you never heard opposing views on a topic, how could you make an intelligent decision on the merits of any view?
