Do colleges care about this?
Will you be more likely to get accepted for taking an AP english course than the regular class. I’m thinking I should change to the normal class, because I don’t even want to study english in college, i want to study psychology. So what should I do?

how are you doing in your AP class? if you are doing fairly well stick with it, collages will look at it. however if you think you may fail your AP class then change as that will weigh more with the college.

In college, you must take a selection of “core courses,” English being some of them. I was required to take 6 credits or 2 classes of English. AP English will better prepare you for this. But it is your decision. Colleges will accept a regular English class.

Some AP classes you can get college credit for, that way when you get into college, you wont have to take that class again. Check with your counselor to see if your english class would count for that.

Stick it out in AP English. It will look better on your applications. Also you will have to take English again in College so why not learn more now so that it’ll be easier later!?

take AP english and do good, alot of schools count AP classes as credits (3 credits, enough to satisfy the reqs. for once class or an elective)
its useful, you can take better psych classes in college. trust me.
