It may be best to speak to your advisor to get specific details on how to go about becoming a Vet, b/c most colleges have different policies. For the most part, most colleges want you to be well grounded, meaning knowing a little bit about different things, so they make you take different classes that are not part of your major- but its necessary for graduation (Called core classes), that’s why they want you to take the classes you have now, and cannot begin taking classes for your major til next semester. It’s always best to get those remedials and core classes little by little anyway so that you’re not bombarded with your major classes all at once.
