A question for natives of Spanish-speaking countries, and/or fluent or advanced speakers of the language:?

I am thinking of learning Spanish, because I like the sound of it, currently I speak English, German French, and Gaelic, and I want to learn Spanish and maybe Japanese.

I am just wondering if Spanish is easy compared to German and French, and whether I should learn Catalan or Castilian

Thanks for your answer

As a native Spanish speaker, I would recommend you begin studying Spanish. As all languages, it has its easy and difficult learning aspects. Perhaps, the most difficult one is that for each verb there are 52 conjugations, but nonetherless, you should give it a try. And the easiest one, I guess, will be the phonetic aspect, because Spanish sounds are similar to those in French, (and some English ones too!)

Hope this helps!
