(a^2-b^2) = (a+b)(a-b)

so:

[(5^1/2 + 2)^6 – (5^1/2 – 2)^6] / 8x(5^1/2) =

[(5^1/2 + 2+5^1/2 – 2)^3*(5^1/2 + 2-5^1/2 – 2)^3]/ 8x(5^1/2) =

[(2*5^1/2)^3*(4)^3]/ 8x(5^1/2) =

5*64 = 320

Let (5^1/2+2) = a

a^6 – a^6 =0

0 / {8(5^1/2)} = 0

The answer is 0. On the top part, anything minus itself is automatically zero, so you don’t even have to figure out what X is – 0/x is still 0.

Just been trying to find an elegant solution to this in the mathematics section, and I can`t ! ! !……. I`ll keep on trying………there must be one which doesn`t involve some mind blowing expansions ! Back in a bit.
