It is important because it marks the beginning of the U.S. war on terror. As 9/11 fades from memory, the democratic congress loses the stomach for what we are doing, and we as the people who had our lives changed on that day need to make sure that this doesn’t happen. 9/11 was a day that some extremist numnut in a turban said to himself, “The americans are soft, If I hit them on their own soil they will crumble like a house of cards.” We said otherwise as we watched those buildings crumble. It’s important for us to remember those feelings as we stay after Bin Laden and his cronies. A lot of people are frustrated that we hav’nt done enough, that we havent caught Bin Laden. The fact is, we’ve had our chances, just not the man power. It’s ridiculous to me that the democratic congress are tying the hands of a president that wants to send every available resource after the taliban and AL-Qaeda. During the Second World war we sent everything we had…and we won. When I think back on the innocent people that died in the World Trade center, and the Pentagon, and the brave americans that died on flight 93 fighting these buggers, I am ashamed of us as Americans, that we have allowed politics to interfere with our decisions in this fight. This is a war people! and if we remember the history of what happened on September 11 the decision is clear. They started it. It’s time to tell the democrats to shut the hell up, and let our brave troops go over there and shove it down their throats!! SEMPER FI!!

Its important because on that day the US in the Nyc State was invaded by terrorist… And a landmark two of the worlds largest towers where hit by 2 planes and destroyed.. And the most horrible thing about that day was 100s to 1000s of lifes where lost in that event. And love ones of families will never be seen again.

Because for the first time in american history a foreign power achieved an act of war on your homeland.

Not even Pearl Harbour comes close to what Al-Qaeda did

Any day when there is significant loss of life in any country, no matter what the cause, becomes an important part of the country’s history.
