The midwest is the biggest corn region. I live in the mdwest, and There is corn on each side of our property. I think it’s the only region.

I am assuming your question refers to commercial large scale corn production because corn can be grown in any 3×5 patch of land you have available which can get decent water and nutrients. It’s a hardy plant of the grass family and is quite easy to grow.

That being said, the National Corn Growers Association has an interesting .pdf file available at their site and a great deal of other neat info. Second page of the .pdf shows their membership coverage — which would lead me to believe these are big corn states.. take a look:

The good old midwest. Theres actually a more specific area given called “The corn belt”. Not sure about which states are in it though.
