Personification is the using of a human trait or action to something not human. Like dancing waves.

Well personification is when you give an inanimate object human like qualities which therefore makes the answer the wave dancing beside them the correct answer.

personification means giving human qualities to non human things.

waves can’t dance…so the author is making them more human here.
