whats a good thesis statement about ………..?

I can lead you in the right track though. First off, that statement there is just that, a statement. It becomes your thesis when you elaborate your own opion on it. So, do you agree or disagree with that statement? If so, your thesis should simply start out with “The search for popularity can limit a student’s personal growth…” or if you disagree, say it does not.. etc.
Now, to finish this, you must find support. If this is a complex deductive paper, a good basis is at least three major supports. So find 3 thingas that support your statement (and before you finalize these find at least 2 or 3 minors that support each major, as this again will keep from causing problems later on) and contine that thesis with “The search for popularity can limit a student’s personal growth by (support one), (support two), and (support three).”
Always start off with your strongest support and end with your weakest. Also keep the paper in the same order as the thesis statement. This technique can also be used for the beginning of each paragraph, stateing “(Major support one) etc… by (minor support one), (minor support two).. etc.”
