Easy? none.

students don’t want their teachers to have the easy route. they want to be taught by bright, compassionate and knowledgeable adults. So if you are looking for easy, look elsewhere.

half – HALF of all new teachers leave this profession within 5 years because they underestimate the pressures and difficulties involved in this profession.

I have been told by many a elementary teacher and high school teacher that I have the hardest job there is (7th grade) I completely disagree with them, I fear kinder kids and look up to high school teachers who guide their kids to college. its all relative. you gravitate to the area you fit in best with.

Each spot has its pros and cons. In the secondary schools, you might teach only one or two subjects, and so I imagine planning would be easier. However you would also have 6-7 classes times what, 30 kids per class (what is the limit in secondary schools?) of grading. In elementary school, you have many, many lessons to plan throughout the day. But we only have 20-35 students depending on the grade level. It depends on what age group you feel that you can work with the best.

If you look at the degree requirements for elementary and secondary education, you will see that elementary education majors don’t have many classes they have to take. They are free to take many electives because they do not have to go in-depth into subject areas. However, secondary education teachers almost always specialize, so they must take many classes in their subject areas.

Elementary. However Sometimes you don’t get a prep period and I couldn’t stand the same kids all day.
