y – 3 = 2 (x + 7)

y-3=2x+14

y=2x+14+3

y=2x+17

y=mx+b and m is the slope

so can you see which number is the slope now?

“the new equaton should be

y= 2x+14+3

Y= 2x+14

solve for Y ”

you have already solved the Y. hes looking for the slope, not Y.
