You only have to capitalize it when you are referring to the name of a specific high school for example Sierra Nevada High School; BUT if you are just referring to high school in general than you don’t need to capitalize it

You capitalize it if you are referring to a specific high school, like when you write John F. Kennedy High School, but not if you are saying something like, “John is the best athlete at his high school.”

You use capital letters only when referring to a specific high school, such as St. Peter’s High School. If you are writing something like “I am attending high school now”, then you don’t use capitals.

If you are saying a high school name, such as “Fake High School” then you would capitalize it. If you are just talking about all high schools in general, then you would not capitalize it. πŸ™‚

high school, cause it’s not a proper noun. but if it was a name like Marina High School, then you would capatilize it. anyway, i’m just a kid, so don’t follow it, i’m not sure, but i learned it in school.
