have the “meat” of the paper which is primarily about how goverment allows the freedom of religion due to the first amendment which states, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free excercis thereof…”

I just need to begin the paper with a thesis statement that is strong, since this is a pursuasive writing assignment.

I am trying to pursuade that religion is indeed a part of government today. Religion is mentioned in the U.S. Constitution, “In God We Trust” is inscripted on coins, “One nation under God…” is stated in the pledge of alligence, etc.
