Well, I would pick a historical building or object close to you. For instance, an old school house. Find out everything you can about it. Ask elder people in the area what they know, go to the library and see if they have information, go to the city council and so forth. Also, don’t forget to research the history the building. (Like the school house, what was the first one? Why were they built? And so on…)

Maybe do a Rube Goldberg project. My class did that in 7th grade but it kinda took awhile with 3 people but you could do something small. If you don’t know what a Rube Goldberg is, it’s basically a devise that does a bunch of complex things to do a simple everyday task. My group did put sprinkles on ice cream. We had a marble roll down a ramp, fall into a cup which was on a lever, then the lever would go up and pop a water balloon…etc. That’s an example. Also, in Home Alone 3, the kid has a little devise to feed his fish(Rube Goldberg) So, you could come up with something like turn a light switch on/off. It doesn’t have to be big and could be small. Just an idea!

utilising 3×5 index enjoying cards, create Presidential “Baseball” enjoying cards for the Presidents. Use stats for baseball gamers to end stats for each president (#, political social gathering, # of words served, imp. legislations surpassed throughout the time of his administration, and so on.
