What’s the importance of studying animal behavior??? (Or more specifically pillbugs)?

For my AP Bio lab due tomorrow… I seriously can’t think of anything, I just need a lead to get me started!! Any help would be appreciated!!

Just by looking up pillbugs for you, I learned some interesting things.

The scientific name is Armadillidium. That is interesting in itself. It suggests they are named after a mammal (the armadillo) which they do resemble in looks, and habit of rolling into a ball.

They are crustaceans, which means they are relative to shrimps and lobsters. I wonder if they are tasty.

They live on land but they respirate using gills.

They live as long as three years (amazing.)

One variety, A. klugii mimics the black widow spider to ward off predators.

This is all very fascinating, and underscores that there is importance in studying animals such as pillbugs purely for my own curiosity.
