I have a few…

1) Self defense…people would benefit by being able to protect themselves in certain situations. A consequence would be putting themselves in danger if they don’t have this skill mastered.

2)Another skill is knowing what to do in emergency circumstances such as a house fire, being stuck in a car underwater, etc….people need to be ready for these freak circumstances just in case it happens to them. If not, a consequence could be their lives.

3)Swimming….benefits include a good cardio/fatburning workout, and a life skill that could save your life

4)Mastering another language…especially here in the USA as the spanish speaking population increases, mastering this skill will help keep people connected before miscommunication turns into something worse.

On some of these questions (not yours), people would benefit from learning to use a dictionary — why? So that they would not look like complete idiots when they write something. It is a lost skill.

Intrapersonal communication skills.

He who cannot speak to himself certainly cannot speak with others.

The consequence could be a general indecisive nature, and the inability to self-reason.

A good listener is a rarity. Developed, the person is trusted, and highly respected. Like anything however, a fraud can be spotted a mile.
