What’s an example of a bias, that doesnt have to do with racism?

Sooo for school I have to give an example and a visual aid of bias. I can think of plenty of examples, but they are all kinda offensive and racist-ish, and I’m 100% against discrimination so i WONT use those, any other ideas? like the “nicest” one?

Gender bias is certainly very widespread, as is bias against those who are differently abled. And how about political bias? If you are looking for a nice bias, some children are biased toward particular colors, like girls often prefer pink. And how about the mother who thinks her child is brilliant, beautiful and wonderful? She’ll say “But I’m probably biased!”

Give an example of something you prefer over something else and make it sound like its the only sane answer. Like “I would prefer to be arrested by a female cop because I have a better chance of getting away…”

First thing that came to mind is that blondes are considered mentally inferior to others. Then there is the sexual bias where women are supposed to be inferior to men.

here is the funny thing. I thought of cutting fabric on a bias, meaning you cut at an angle

A person who doesn’t like short people.

A person who doesn’t like tall people.

A person who doesn’t like people with freckles.

A man who doesn’t want women working for him.

A woman who doesn’t want men working for her.

An older person who won’t hire a younger person.

A younger person who won’t hire an older person.

You can base your bias on many, many traits, not just racism.

My daughter is more beautiful, smarter, … than yours.

All secretaries are women.

Hopefully you get the idea.
