what property allows you to switch the two sides of an equation?

this is my algebra 2 homework and im too lazy to look so can someone tell me? oh and also..,, tell me these… The_______ of multiplication says that you can reverse the order of two factors without changing the value of their product… and if 2y-6=3 and 3=4y+21. this is an example of ___________

Symmetry is what allows you to switch the two sides. Associative involves changing things within the parenthesis, and comutative allows you to take things out of a parentheses.
