What math rules can you generalize by studying the patterns of multiplication of numbers with exponents?
Favorite Answer
EX
20^15.
What you do is you seperate it into easier numbers.
20^2 which is 400.
That you can do 7 times.
so now you have 400^7×20^1
Now you do the 400^2, which is 160000.
Now you have 160000^3x400x20 (^1 is the number.)
Now you take 160000^2 which is 25600000000.
You now have 25600000000x160000x400x20.
400×20 is 800.
128000000 is the answer of 800×160000.
Now you have that 25600000000 times 128000000.
Now, if you haven’t been able to do this is the head like I am, then you need to get a calculator, or else get scratch paper.
That makes things easier.
Continuing:
25600000000×128000000 is basically 256×128 with 14 0’s at the end. 962800000000000000.
Its not that hard, you just have to break it up!
