Im 13 and I have the same problem. And then I started reading Dean Koontz and I read instead of actually getting on AIM lol. Um Intensity is an awesome book. The beginning starts off a little slow but its devastating action on like pages 30. If youre into serial killers and all that I would really recommend Dean Koontz. So far my favs are Intensity, Velocity, Frankenstein series (didnt think itd be good but I cant wait for the third to come out), and The Husband. Right now Im reading Forever odd. Good luck.

I have the perfect perfect book for you, its called “My Sisters Keeper” The author is Jodi Picoult, and she is a best selling author practically with all her books too! This one just seems like it would be perfect for this assignment, plus your 15 and so is the girl in the book. Its about a young girl, about 15 who has leukemia and is not supposed to live past age 5, so her parents cant donate bone marrow since they arent matches but they have a daughter that is the perfect match. She grows up feeling like she was only born to help her sister out, everytime her sister is in the hospital she is too, whether it be donating blood or surgery to donate bone marrow. So the girl goes to a lawyer one day to get emancipated from her parents and starts a huge rift in the family. Its a great book, gets you wondering which is more important, that a young girl have her own life with her own decisions or that a young girl be in the hospital against her own will to save her sister for the rest of her life. Its very sad so be prepared to cry alot!

The book is “Semi-Perfect”.. I dont know the author but it will be easy to find…Its non-fiction and it is abt a girl who is in depression and she keeps sinking into a hole … and she does loads of stupid things while in depression…and then later when her parents n frenz come 2 know… how they help her come out of it…. Its a short book… not very long…. so read it if u can….

If not, then u can fall back upon the tested “Da Vinci Code” or any other book written by Dan Brown dat u might have read…

All the best 4 ur book report…

…based on your screen name- the Harry Potter series is probably something you could use.

It’s a common misconception that these are “kids” books. They’re not.

I liked “A Million LIttle Pieces” whether it’s fiction or not! “Life of Pi” is also a good one. A short book that would count as literature is “Jonathan LIvingston Seagull” by Richard Bach. It’s pretty inspirational, and you can read it in an hour!

EDIT: and the DaVinci Code too– forgot about that one!
