What is the U.S. Governments assimilation policy??
Could someone please explain to me what the assimilation policy was in the late 1800’s?

In the 1800’s there didnt need to be any assimilation laws or “policies”. People had anought respect and wanted to make America great, and wanted to be apart of it. They did not come to the U.S. illegally and did not come to abuse the system. Now people are coming to the US illegally and expect everything to be in spanish and people that were born here can’t get a job at McDonalds because they don’t speak spanish. It has become a major problem.
