Favorite Answer
Climax: After proving themselves innocent, the boys begin to build rockets again and win one of the largest science fairs (and scholarships or something)
Conflicts/Solutions:
-The boys are accused of causing something to be lit on fire near the company mines. They are band from the area and not to make rockets again.
The boys use physics and science to find where the rocket would have landed, recovered their only missing rocket, and prove it wasn’t them.
-Homer quits school to work in the mines.
He realizes that working in the mines isn’t what he was meant for. He enrolls again in school and quits working at the mines.
-Having equipment stolen from their exhibit at the science fair makes Homer have to call home and ask for another piece to be sent to him, and quickly. Sadly, a strike is going on at the mines at the same time.
Homer’s mother works it out with his father and manages to get him the part in time.
and many more!
Conflicts:
-Homer’s dad wanted him to be a mine engineer, not a rocket scientist—-Solution: dad finally understand his son want to be a scientist, and let him make his own decision.
-The boys didn’t have enough money to build rockets—Solution: so they have to dug up scrap metal to sell for money.
