read it yourself…my view is rational is a sort of behavior and if you act rational you are acting as a model citizen…..self interest is doing good at something because it benefits you….not taking others into consideration would be irrational self interest….rational kinda means taking things into consideration and acting in the best behavior to benefit you in a legal and prosperous way i guess….putting money in the bank is rational self interest…..saving money for your future to benefit you later in life
