Define Touting

the big bang was an exponential expansion in the fabric of spacetime from a singularity (i can go into some theoretical ideas about what caused it but that would get pretty technical, email me if you want details). we know that happened because you are still living inside it right now. the universe never stopped expanding it’s still expanding today. and it’s speeding up. and we’re not sure why. the most distant galaxies are moving away from us faster than the speed of light. that is allowed in general relativity there is a little loophole. evolution is really easy. basically you have variation within a species, we’re not all identical. that is true for any organism. so over time natural selection, the fight for survival, will determine the winners and the losers. winning means living long enough to have kids, losing usually ends up you being lunch for something more dangerous than you are. but this is not random. what happens is the organisms that survive will be the ones with genes that help them survive, like a very slightly longer leg that just allows them to run a little bit faster. so these organisms pass on the genes that made them successful to the next generation. over thousands and millions of generations these little changes really add up. and populations split and go their separate ways, come back in 10 million years and they don’t look anything like each other any more, like humans and chimps we split from each other about 5-6 million years ago.
