What is a positive opinion of Queen Elizabeth I from someone at the time when she ruled?

Could you please help me with this, its for my history project and i’ve foud a negative opinion but I still need a positive opinion. Either the opinion itself or the site containing the opinion would be great thanks!

The Faerie Queene by Edmund Spenser

This poem was written to flatter the queen and praise the royal house of Tudor. the poem links her family to the great King Arthur.

Elizabeth was so pleased with this poem that she grated the author a very generous pension for life.
