It says “boys my age ALWAYS get watched when they go into stores.” there is no way to know if EVERY boy ALWAYS gets watched EVERY TIME they go into stores. a generalization is kind of like a stereotype. Just because most people you know do something- you automatically assume everyone else like them does the same.
For example-
generalization: all the kids with tattoos and piercings end up being convincted for something before they’re out of high school.
^ it’s way too broad of a sentence. there’s no way you can say ALL kids with tattoos and piercings, because there’s know way someone can know all the kids with tattoos and piercings.
hope this helps!
